# Craps Payouts

Understand **craps payouts** is important, as that will allow you to
know which bets are strong and which are reserved for suckers. This article
lists the craps payouts for all possible types of **craps wagers**.

## Figuring the Payout

If the payout reads 4:1, this means you would win four units for every one unit wagered. Therefore, wagering $100 on a 4:1 bet would win you $400. Conversely, a 1:4 payout would give the bettor one unit for every four wagered. Thus, you would have to wager $400 to win $100. Learning how to figure the craps payouts will enable you to maximize your winning potential at the table.

## Payouts on Craps Wagers

**Come** - Pays out at 1:1 odds.

**Don't Come **- Pays at 1:1 odds.

**Pass **- Pays out at 1:1 odds, just like the come bet.

**Don't Pass **- Pays at 1:1, the same as the don't come wager.

**Pass Odds -** Pays 2:1 if a 4 or 10 is rolled, 3:2 on a 5 or 9, and
6:5 on a 6 or 8.

**Don't Pass Odds **- If a 4 or 10 is rolled, the bet pays out at 1:2
odds. 5 or 9 pay at 3:2, and 5:6 for 6 or 8.

**Aces **- If a total of two is rolled, this bet pays at 30 to 1.

**Ace-Deuce **- Pays out at 15:1.

**Yo **- Pays at 15 to 1.

**Boxcars **- Pays at 30:1 odds.

**C&E **- This combined bet pays at 3:1 on craps and 7:1 on 11.

**Hi-Lo **- Pays at 15:1 on a 2 or 12.

**Craps **- Pays 7:1 is a 2, 3, or 12 is rolled.

**Horn **- If a 2 or 12 is rolled, it pays 27:4. If a 3 or 11 is
rolled, it pays out at 3:1.

**Any Seven **- Pays 4:1 odds.

**Whirl **- Pays 26:5 on a 2 or 12, 11:5 on a 3 or 11, and 0:1 on a 7.
The latter is a push.

**On the Hop **- The bet pays 15:1, although doubles pay 30:1.

**Field **- Pays even money on 3, 4, 9, 10, or 11. Pays 2:1 on 2 and
3:1 on 12.

**Hard Way **- Pays 7:1 on 4 and 10 and 9:1 on 6 and 8.

**Big 8 and Big 6 **- Both of these bets pay even money.

**Place **- 4 and 10 pay 9:5, 5 and 9 pay 7:5, and 6 and 8 pay 7:6.

**Buy **- 4 and 10 pay 2:1, 5 and 9 pay 3:2, and 6 and 8 pay 6:5.

**Lay **- 4 and 10 pay 1:2, 5 or 9 pay 2:3, and 6 and 8 pay 5:6.
